(Base 2009 70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot) the nose is fine, racy / chalky, dunless the Cuvée Nuit Blanche). It reveals notes of white fruits / ripe peach and a touch of citrus associated with a very discreet note of marmalade, a very discreet hint of cooked fruits / baked peach and a discreet touch of salted butter caramel. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, right, bright, “clean”, elegant, quite gourmande and offerss roundness. The effervescence is very fine, rich, elegant, bright and slightly creamy. In the mouth this Champagne expresses notes of lemon, tangerine and Granny apple associated with slight notes of exotic fruits and a hint of apple compote. Good length and persistence. A beautiful fruity Champagne !
