Champagne Jacquinot – Blanc de Noirs – Brut

(Base: 2013 vintage. 100% Pinot Noir) The nose is fruity and gourmand. It reveals notes of strawberry and candied cherry associated with slight touches of citrus (in the background) and a hint of passion fruit, raspberry and a discreet touch of spice. The palate is fruity, elegant, fresh, relatively gourmande and offers a beautiful minerality / freshness and a small / slight acid frame. The effervescence is elegant and creamy. In the mouth this Champagne expresses notes of raspberry and a touch of redcurrant associated with a hint of strawberry, touches of citrus (lemon, a touch of tangerine), slight touches of zest and a discreet touch of sweet spices. Good length and persistence.
