Champagne Gosset – Cuvée Celebris 1998 – Extra Brut

(64% Chardonnay, 36% Pinot Noir) The nose is elegant and fine. It reveals notes of small fruit, apple, brioche and slight note of acacia honey combined with a small note blond tobacco, evolution and a slight touch of leather. The palate offers a great finesse and elegance of bubbles. The mouth is gourmand, fine, elegant, quite fat, rich and offers a nice, dense and suave matter. On the palate this Champagne expresses little notes of juicy pineapple, lemon and mirabelle plum combined with hints of dried fruit with a touch of white fruits, almonds, honey, as well as very slight and fine woody notes. Good length and aromatic persistence.
