The nose is elegant, fruity and offers gourmandize as well as fine definition. It reveals notes of quince, yellow apple, small notes of pulpy/juicy yellow berries associated with touches of yellow flowers/buttercup as well as a hint of fresh blackberry, discreet hints of butter and an imperceptible hint of brioche/spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers precision, a juicy/finely acidulous frame and a little tension. On the palate this Champagne expresses notes of juicy/ripe quince, pulpy/juicy yellow berries, small notes of lychee associated with small touches of juicy kumquat, lemon as well as subtle hints of yellow flowers, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of brioche. Good length. A persistence on very fine hints of acidulous/crunchy granny smith apple. A fine, well-built and suave effervescence.
