The nose is aromatic and offers intensity / power as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis and garrigue combined with hints of strawberry, racy minerality, blueberry, Sichuan pepper and violet. The palate is fruity, suave, well-balanced and offers fleshiness, a small straightness, tension, a small acid frame as well as roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy red cherry, crushed/ripe redcurrants and small notes of Bigarreau cherry associated with small touches of blackberry, cassis as well as slight hints of garrigue (olive tree, rosemary …),racy minerality and a very discreet hint of violet. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
