The wine has a clear and limpid cherry color with purple hint. The first nose is aromatic with notes of sweet spices such as cinnamon. There are notes of vanilla and on aeration the second nose has touches of stewed fruits. We also have some freshness with eucalyptus and mint chocolate. A pleasant woody aspect envelops the whole like sandalwood. The palate is fresh with black pepper and rose petals on the attack. The tannins are smooth. There are black fruits such as plum and cherry but also hints of dried tomato. It’s still young, it’s simple and effective. The finish is a bit astringent with aromas of crushed blackberry.
