The nose is fruity, fresh, well-built and offers juiciness. It reveals notes of cassis, boysenberry and small notes of crushed / fresh redcurrants associated with a touch of blueberry, jammy raspberry as well as small touches of black olive, toasted oak and very discreet hints of tonka bean. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, elegant and offers a slight acid frame, a good definition as well as a smallsuavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, cassis, red berries and cherry associated with slight touches of raspberry, colas / liquorice, black olive as well as discreet touches of cardamom, black tea and an imperceptible hint of tonka bean. Tannins are fine, elegant, straight and structuring. Beautiful finish. Beautiful and gourmande persistence.
