Caymus vineyards – Zinfandel 2015 – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers power as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of black cherry cream and slight notes of fleshy blueberry combined with slight touches of crushed strawberry, touches of chocolate as well as subtle touches of vanilla and wood. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, concentration, tension as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blueberry and slight notes of blackberry cream combined with touches of raspberry fleshy, wood, vanilla as well as a discreet hint of mocha and slight / discreet touches of caramelization (in the background). Tannins a bit dry. Good length.
