The nose is aromatic, slightly tight and offers a slight intensity as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, crushed boysenberry and discreet hints of ripe raspberry as well as a subtle hint of cacao and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, tight, suave and offers a slight acid frame, minerality, fat, harmony, elegance, a fine intensity, deepness, a nice definition as well as a slight conentration. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed boysenberry, fresh/ripe cassis and hints of plum associated with a subtle hint of fresh/ripe raspberry, a hint of redcurrant jam, slight notes of chocolate as well as a discreet hint of toasted oak, spices and an imperceptible hint of flowers/plants (in the background). Tannins are supple and harmonious.
