The wine shows a medium deep ruby colour, slightly opaque, with some garnet hues. The nose opens up oaky and heady with pronounced notes of cinnamon, cloves, milk chocolate, cherry liqueur and prunes. The palate is dense and powerful, with smooth, well-integrated tannins and controlled volume. There is a lot of sweetness in this wine. The palate reveals notes of cherry compote, dark chocolate, a touch of dried herbs and aromatic spices. The finish lingers with a pleasant stewed cherry note.
