The nose is fruity and relatively fine. It reveals notes of red fruit, leather and flowers associated with touches of violet and a slight touch of cherry candy as well as discreet notes of spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, dense, suave, quite fat and offers a clay minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of cherry, raspberry and slight notes of cassis associated with slight notes of spices, a touch of fig and a fine note of mentholated licorice on the finish. Tannins are fine.
