The wine shows a medium ruby-garnet colour. The nose is intensely spicy and woody, revealing notes of dried herbs, roasted meat, a touch of cloves and nutmeg, some menthol and eucalyptus. The palate is full of gourmandise with nuances of milk chocolate, coconut, a touch of toffee, dried sweet cherries and plums. The tannins are well-managed, grainy but polished. The finish offers finesse and freshness.
