On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy crunchy red berries and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with small touches of elderberry, blackberry, hints of cocoa, Zan, tobacco as well as an imperceptible hint of black olive and clove. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a hint of dark chocolate / caramelization on the finish.
