Cascina Luisin – Barbaresco DOCG 2018 Rabajà

Cascina Luisin – Barbaresco DOCG 2018 Rabajà

The nose is racy and offers a discreetly tight texture as well as a fine stretched side. It reveals notes of wild raspberry, blackberry and more lightly of lily associated with touches of bay laurel, wild berry / berry fruits as well as a subtle hint of local grove. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, good definition, some tension, gourmandize as well as energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry / raspberry and more slightly of crushed red currants associated with a touch of juicy / pulpy red plum, cornflower as well as fine hints of liquorice, tobacco and a very discreet hint of cardamom. The tannins are precise and finely mellow.
