The nose offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blueberry / violet and small notes of elderberries associated with touches of crunchy red berries, cassis bud, licorice stick as well as hints of black olive and a very discreet hint of black pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, frank, structured and offers suavity, a small straightness as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherries, black berries / elderberries and small notes of crunchy red fruits (raspberries, berries) associated with small touches of Zan, blond tobacco, sweet spices, nutmeg as well as a very discreet hint of flowers, laurel / olive tree and cocoa. Tannins are a bit tight and slightly firm. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of praline on the finish. Gourmandise on the finish / persistence.
