The nose is fruity and relatively full / intense. It reveals notes of cassis and redcurrants associated with slight notes of wild berries, Boysenberry, spices as well as a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and a discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, round, fat and offers freshness and unctuosity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, plum and slight notes of raspberry, black cherry skin combined with hints of toasted wood, a discreet hint of olive as well as a very discreet hint of licorice and vanilla. Tannins are a bit dry. Good length. There is a discreet hint of cocoa on the persistence.
