The nose is fruity with a fine pulpy impression. There is also a fine concentration and accuracy. There are notes of fairly ripe blackberry, bigarreau cherry and more slightly blueberry combined with hints of the local biotop. There is a racy minerality and a fine touch of pepper. The palate is fresh with minerality. It has a juicy frame with a nice freshness and good definition. It also has a bit of an coating quality with juicy, plump cherry, crunchy prune and slighter berry notes combined with hints of chocolate, cigar and pastry. There is also a hint of camphor and a very discreet note of caramelisation. There is a lot of gourmandise and a nice matter. The tannins are discreetly marked.
