The nose reveals notes of leather associated with slight notes of blackberry jam, fresh cassis, strawberry, pepper (Sichuan, Cuben), olive, woody as well as a discreet hint of iodized minerality and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. The mouth is fruity, juicy, fine, precise, relatively gourmande and offers a nice juiciness, tension and minerality. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cherry, black cherry and hints of crunchy strawberry combined with slight notes of caramelized wood as well as a touch of chocolate and a fine hint of minerality. Tannins are very fine and a bit dry. Good length. The persistence offers notes of acid redcurrant and caramelization.
