The nose is racy, elegant and offers a fine richness/power as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, raspberry, racy minerality and fine touches of cassis, violet associated with a very discreet hint of lilac, subtle/fine touches of zan, mild tobacco as well as very discreet hints of black cherry and spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, suave, silky and offers a beautiful freshness, a good definition, finesse, fat, a nice straightness, a very fine unctuosity, tension, gourmandize as well as a beautiful precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry, wild red berries associated to fine touches of toasted oak, liquorice/zan, sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of mild tobacco, subtle hint of almond (in the background) and imperceptible hint of tonka bean (in the background). Tannins are fine and elegant. There is a very discreet hint of flowers and juicy/crunchy fruits on the finish.
