The wine an attractive, bright ruby colour. The nose is slightly reductive, smoky, with aeration revealing notes of fresh wood, some earthy nuances, a touch of liquorice and dried herbs. The palate is elegant, quite light and aerial, with grippy, chalky tannins and refreshing acidity. The palate reveals notes of red and black cherries milk chocolate, cacao underlaid by sweet baking spices and oaky notes. The finish is relatively short but pleasant and spicy.
