The nose is fruity, powerful, elegant and offers concentration. It reveals notes of wild cassis and wild berries associated with touches of fleshy Bigarreau cherry as well as very fine hints of violet, iris, Sichuan pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral / slightly acidulous frame, gourmandize, a fine fat, tension as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis, fleshy / juicy black cherry and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of raspberry, a discreet hint of iris as well as very discreet hints of chocolate / cocoa, graphite, camphor and a hint of bitterness (in the background). Good length.
