Carpineto 2016 – Chianti Classico Gran Selezione

The nose is very finely tight and offers a certain power, freshness as well as tension. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of crushed black berries associated with a touch of wild strawberry, pepper, hints of thyme flowers, sweet spices and a very discreet hint black olive and sweet tobacco. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy / mineral frame, tension as well as a certain dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy / juicy cassis and small notes of crushed small black fruits associated with hints of fleshy raspberry, fine hints of violets, lilies and discreet hints of chocolate, caramelization, tonka bean and cardamom. Good length.
