The nose is elegant, precise, gourmand, supple, and offers power, a lovely pulpy/fleshy fruit. It expresses notes of pulpy blueberry, fleshy/pulpy blackberry and more slightly – graphite associated with fine roasted hints as well as points of violet, fresh blond tobacco and a discreet hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, pulpiness, gourmandise, a tangy structure, a certain straightness, fleshiness. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, juicy/tart raspberry and more slightly – small pulpy/tart blue fruits associated with floral, almost sappy/aniseed touches as well as fine hints of chocolate and discreet hints of tonka bean. A nice minerality, fullness and gourmandise, a nice textured side on the palate. The tannins are supple, sapid and sappy. Sapidity and gourmandise.
