The nose reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed wild strawberry, laurel / olive tree and small berries associated with slight hints of tonka bean and sweet spices / cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a small straightness, a slight tension as well as a small suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed / ripe redcurrant, blackberry and small notes of cherry associated with touches of garrigue, cassis as well as subtle hints of black olive, subtle toasted hints, cardamom and spices. Tannins are fine and very slightly tight. Good length. There are a hint of cocoa and a hint of bitterness on the persistence.
