The nose is aromatic and offers a fine richness. It reveals notes of fresh leather, nutmeg and small notes of laurel associated with touches of ripe red berries, blackberry as well as discreet hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, tense, a bit tight and offers a good definition as well as a fine acidulous frame (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild red fruits, fresh leather, laurel and small notes of garrigue associated with a hint of cigar and spices. There are a fine hint of balsamic and iris / primrose on the finish.
