Camille Giroud – Les Cras 2018 – Beaune

Camille Giroud – Les Cras 2018 – Beaune

Nice aromatic, flowery, delicious nose, which offers a nice maturity of the fruit as well as a certain intensity and complexity. It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, violet, and slight notes of ripe purple plum associated with touches of lily, rose, slight hints of ripe/pulpy currants as well as a hint of small blue fruits and fresh licorice. The palate is aerial, and fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, a nice quality of fruit, tension, and gourmandize as well as purity (of the fruit). On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, pulpy/fresh violet plum, and slight notes of fresh bramble associated with touches of cornflowers, lily, and lilac as well as a subtle hint of laurel (on the finish). A discreet hint of noble varietal aromas.
