The nose is racy and offers power as well as intensity and finesse. There are notes of ripe wild red berries, Cuben pepper and more lightly of local grove combined with a touch of warm soil and a fine hint of zan. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, gourmandize, suavity, a nice acid/mineral structure, good definition and tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of full-bodied/juicy black plum, full-bodied/juicy red berries and more lightly peppery notes combined with a touch of cinnamon, bergamot and discreet hints of sweet spices and a fine touch of liquorice (in the background). The tannins are elegant and supple. The persistence is gourmet and long.
