The nose is fruity, well-built and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and raspberry associated with slight hints of gray pepper, spices as well as a very discreet hint of sap/ pine and a very discreet toasted hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, juicy, very slightly tight and offers a good definition, a beautiful acid frame, a slight concentration, a small suavity, a beautiful freshness as well as crunchiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry and small notes of blackberry, redcurrants associated with slight touches of local vegetation / pine, small fresh wild flowers, almond, liquorice / Zan, chocolate and an imperceptible touch of blond tobacco. Tannins are fine, elegant and a bit firm. Very fine chews on the finish / persistence.
