The nose is flowery, racy and offers a fine power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of crunchy cherry, cherry blossom, cassis bud, small notes of fresh blackberry associated a fine touch of crunchy strawberry, sweet spices, a discreet hint of laurel and an imperceptible hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a good freshness as well as a small minerality, a beautiful roundness and a small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy redcurrant, crunchy cherry, small notes of cassis bud associated with small touches of pulpy blackberry as well as hints of violet, rose wood, very fine hints of sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of laurel. A subtle hint of caramelization/pastries on the persistence/aftertaste.
