Butler Nephew & Co – 10 Years Old White Port

Butler Nephew & Co – 10 Years Old White Port

The nose is fruity and offers power (full of control), elegance, a beautiful definition, a certain intensity as well as a small deepness. It reveals notes of quince, patisserie, small notes of orangette associated with touches of candied Mirabelle, pomme d’amour, fine hints of dry yellow currant, spices, a discreet hint of pepper and eucalyptus. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, dynamism, richness as well as a very fine incisive side, fullness and gourmandize. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of jam, quince jam, small notes of dry apricot associated with touches of candied pear as well as fine hints of patisserie, caramelization, discreet hints of toasted hazelnut, small dry fruits, an imperceptible hint of eucalyptus and pepper. Good length. A beautiful persistence.
