Brio de Cantenac Brown 2012 – Margaux

The nose is velvety, quite dense and elegant. It reveals notes of boysenberries and strawberry associated with slight notes of violet, a small note of blueberry (in the background) as well as slight notes of vanilla, caramel and toasted notes. The palate is fruity, fresh, gourmand, mineral, racy and quite velvety, dense and offers juicy fruits. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, strawberry and juicy blackcurrant associated with touches of raspberry, a touch of purple fig, a light note of coffee as well as fine notes of saline minerality, dark chocolate and oak. Tannins are fine, slightly grainy and relatively elegant. Good length and persistence.
