The nose is fruity and offers precision, straightness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberries, ripe wild strawberries and small notes of Quetsche plum associated with small toasted touches, chocolate as well as very discreet hints of blond tobacco and toasted. The palate is fresh, mineral, fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, an acidulous frame, finesse as well as a beautiful structure. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/acidulous black cherry and juicy/acidulous wild raspberry associated with small touches of fresh/acidulous Quetsche plum, red/acidulous red berries as well as hints of tobacco, chocolate, almond and a very discreet hint of zan (in the background). Tannins are well-built, fine and elegant. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of salinity on the finish / persistence.
