Brenot Beranger, Domaine de Naisse – Pinot Noir 2019 – Bourgogne

The nose is fruity and offers bright fruit as well as gourmandize. It reveals notes of bright wild strawberries, cherries and small notes of cornflowers associated with touches of Cuben pepper, violet, small hints of small blue fruits, spices as well as a discreet hint of laurel berries and licorice. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a good definition, gourmandize, juiciness, energy, a certain tension, a small fat as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, bright raspberry and small notes of juicy Boysenberry associated with a touch of cornflowers, rose, acidulous blue berries as well as hints of liquorice, fresh blond tobacco and a discreet hint of nutmeg. Tannins are well-built. Good length. Presence of a fine floral hint and an imperceptible chocolate hint on the finish.
