The nose is fruity, powerful, precise, incisive and offers a fine gourmandise as well as generosity. It reveals notes of Zante currant puree, candied orange zests and jam associated with touches of cedar, rancio, a hint of fruits in syrup as well as a very discreet hint of leather, toasted oak and an imperceptible hint of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, round, slightly aerial, slightly fleshy and offers a tension, a slight/discreet minerality as well as suavity. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of white fruits in syrup, marmelade, dried grape puree and subtle hints of dried apricot associated with slight touches of cedar wood, caramel as well as a very discreet hint of tonka bean (in the background). Good length and persistence. There is a subtle hint of candy on the aftertaste.
