The nose is elegant, aromatic, racy and offers power, depthness and a beautiful, fine and very slightly tight grain. It reveals notes of quince, crushed Mirabelle plum and a touch of butter combined with touches of racy minerality (terroir), cooked apple as well as subtle hints of sweet spices, nutmeg, citrus and an imperceptible hint of beeswax. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a beautiful definition, a fresh frame, a racy minerality, a small tension, juiciness, gourmandise, roundness, a very fine unctuosity as well as a fine and very discreetly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, fleshy / juicy mirabelle plum and small notes of apple associated with small touches of beeswax, butter / brioche as well as an imperceptible hint of flowers (in the background). A very discreet firmness (in the background) and a subtle hint of chestnut / hazel on the finish. Beautiful persistence.
