The nose is elegant and offers power, a certain intensity and a very fine straightness. It reveals notes of pulpy/ripe cassis, small ripe black berries, small notes of violet associated with touches of racy minerality, liquorice as well as fine hints of rose wood, nutmeg and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, flowery and offers an acidulous frame, a beautiful definition of the fruit, harmony as well as a beautiful delicate touch and a pulpy/acidulous fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright plum, redcurrant, small notes of acidulous wild strawberry associated with touches of rose, lily as well as hints of nutmeg, mild tobacco and an imperceptible varietal hint. Good length. A subtle hint of chocolate on the finish/persistence.
