Boasso – Margheria 2014 – Barolo

Boasso – Margheria 2014 – Barolo

The nose is fruity, elegant, a little tight and offers a small concentration. There are notes of fleshy wild raspberry, wild blackberry and more lightly cherry bigarreau, small black fruits associated with small touches of spices, blond tobacco and a very discreet touch of garrigue, caramelization and ripe almond. The palate is fruity, fresh, precise, elegant, dynamic and offers a nice precision, good grain finesse, a mineral frame and delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh raspberry / fleshy and fresh red / ripe berries associated with small touches of cherry bigarreau, crushed blackcurrant and discrete tips of tonka bean, cigar / tobacco blond, garrigue / laurel, racy minerality and licorice (in the background). The tannins are fine, elegant, structuring and a little firm.
