Very nice caramel color, limpid and shiny. The nose is initially discreet on cream and salted butter caramel. There is a nice roundness, with freshness and dried fruits such as apricot. There are also orange peels and mango with a discreet toast. The palate is full-bodied with good acidity. There is power and roundness. Spices emerge with pepper in particular. We find vanilla and fruits such as baked apple, apricot in syrup and cherry stone. It’s slightly smoky but it’s mostly woody. The finish is on the freshness with gourmandise, it is juicy. There are notes of grains and iodine at the very end of the palate.
