Biondi – Cisterna Fuori 2013

Biondi – Cisterna Fuori 2013

The nose is evolved. We find notes of small dried red fruits and patina associated with hints of undergrowth, almost a truffle side as well as discreet hints of grilled aromatic herbs. The palate is mineral and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral structure, a good definition, a certain roundness as well as a nice richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of small dried/crushed red fruits and small notes of patina associated with touches of dried violet plum, hints of blond tobacco, undergrowth, black olive, a discreet hint of smoke, toasted hazelnut and aromatic herbs. Tannins are fresh, supple and rac. Good length.
