(100% Sangiovese) The nose is quite powerful. It reveals notes of dried red fruit combined with touches of blackberry, pepper as well as small toasted notes, spices, tobacco and a fine note of aromatic herbs. The palate is fruity, round, fat, mineral, balanced and elegant. It expresses notes of candied cherry, black cherry and blackberry associated with a few notes of raspberry as well as fine notes of chocolate and a discreet note of coffee on the aftertaste. Tannins are slightly firm. Good length.
