Bernard Rion 2019 – Chorey-Les-Beaune

Bernard Rion 2019 – Chorey-Les-Beaune

The nose is fresh, aromatic and offers a certain power and precision. It reveals notes of red cherry, blackberry and small notes of cassis associated with touches of liquorice, small red fruits / small currants associated with touches of grey pepper, a subtle hint of nutmeg, racy minerality / stony side and a subtle hint of spices. The palate is fruity, racy and offers juiciness, suavity, freshness, minerality, roundness as well as a small fat and a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, juicy / fresh strawberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of cornflower, nutmeg, a stony side, fine hints of chocolate as well as a discreet hint of spices. Tannins are supple and integrated. A gourmande persistence with a discreet hint of vanilla / caramelization.
