Bernadette et Gilbert Colombet 2018 – Saint-Joseph

The nose is aromatic, fruity and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of blackberry, small wild berries and small notes of olive tree associated with touches of crushed raspberry, a discreet hint of strawberry jam, violet as well as a hint of Cuben pepper and rosewood. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a fine tension, racy minerality as well as a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of small crunchy red berries, olive tree and small notes of bulb/violet associated with touches of crunchy raspberry, chocolate as well as hints of graphite.
