Benjamin de Beauregard 2022 – Pomerol

(AB) Nice fresh, airy nose and offers a fresh roasted hint. We find notes of fresh blackberry and more slightly roasted notes associated with touches of small fresh/pulpy blue fruits as well as hints of graphite, fresh pepper as well as a subtle sappy hint and infusion. The palate is nicely juicy, fresh, gourmand and offers a certain richness/fatness, tension, harmony, fullness, airiness as well as a lovely energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry and small bright/pulpy blue fruits associated with touches of violet, lily as well as hints of racy minerality as well as fine hints of infusion and a subtle hint of noble varietal. The tannins are fresh and polished. A touch of good bitterness in the background.
