Very nice intense caramel color, bright. The nose is marked by peat but it’s delicate which seems to be a signature of Maison Bellevoye. Little by little, the smoke increases with cold ash. Fruits also appear: peach in syrup, pineapple. There is freshness with a little mint and sweet spices, vanilla. It’s complex and you have to leave a little time for the aromas to unfold. The palate is fine, on soot and smoke. It’s delicate. Soft. There are also fruits like cherry, baked apple, juicy peach. We also have spices with a little vanilla and liquorice. A salty side emerges in the mid-palate to reach a crisp, clean, peaty finish. It’s clean and fresh, subtle. Nice balance. A Triple Malt to discover for lovers of well-crafted peat.
