The nose is fruity, structured, slightly powerful and offers a slight juiciness. It reveals notes of juicy cassis, blackberry and small notes of ripe / fleshy cherry combined with a discreet hint of grove, laurel /laurel berries, Sichuan pepper as well as subtle hints of toasted oak, cocoa and a subtle hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight mineral frame, a small juiciness as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cherry and juicy / wild red berries associated with slight touches of cassis, grove as well as slight / subtle hints of liquorice, toasted / caramelized oak, olive tree / black olive, vanilla, spices and an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background). Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
