Baron de Brane 2021 – Margaux

Baron de Brane 2021 – Margaux

The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize, some creaminess with finesse. There are notes of boysenberry, pulpy/crunchy strawberry and, more slightly, creamy blackcurrant, combined with a touch of bright fruit, lily and hints of caramelisation, chocolate and pepper. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, freshness, a nice brightness of the fruit, aromatic purity, a contained side, delicacy. On the palate, this wine expresses juicy/pulpy cherry, raspberry and more slightly fresh blackcurrant notes combined with fine floral hints, delicate touches of racy gravel, a fine iodine touch, caramelisation, toasted hazelnut, chocolate. The tannins are fine, elegant and racy. A nice quality of tannins.
