The nose is fruity, fresh, precise and offers a slight intensity, a slight richness / concentration as well as a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of crushed fresh raspberry and crunchy Gariguette strawberry combined with small notes of boysenberry, wild black fruits as well as toasted touches, chocolate, sweet / blond tobacco, and slight touches of almond and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise, gourmand and offers a beautiful definition / finesse, a nice tension, a slight minerality, freshness as well as purity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / crunchy raspberry, crunchy cherry and small notes of crunchy blackberry associated with a touch of fleshy blueberry / violet, with small touches of toasted oak, vanilla, sweet tobacco as well as a very discreet / imperceptible hint of chocolate (in the background) and hazelnut. Tannins are a bit firm, a bit young and medium grain. Good length. Small chew on the finish. Good persistence.
