Balthus du Château de Reignac 2014 – Bordeaux Supérieur

Balthus du Château de Reignac 2014 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fine, concentrated, fruity and elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry and blackcurrant associated with slight notes of red fruits and flowers (iris, blueberry), sour cherry as well as slight notes of coffee and toast. The palate is fresh, mineral, fruity, racy, balanced, beautifully fat and offers a nice tension. Good fruity frame. In the mouth it expresses notes of blackberry, blackberry cream, plum and slight notes of raspberry and blueberry combined with small woody / spicy notes, a little chocolate note and a slight hint of roasted coffee on the finish. Tannins are very fine, elegant and slightly firm. Good length.
