The nose is fruity, elegant, gourmand and offers power in precision (an iron fist in a velvet glove!), density in control as well as deepness. We find notes of black blackberry, violet and small notes of pulpy small black fruits associated with touches of graphite, blueberry, discreet hints of blond tobacco as well as a subtle hint of almost sage and vanilla. The palate is beautifully structured, nicely fresh, gourmand and offers power, a graphite side, density in freshness as well as tension in precision/control. An aerial side in its power, full of control. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, cornflower and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of small roasted fruits as well as hints of cardamom, Bourbon vanilla, toasted hazelnut and a hint of chocolatey. Good length. Chewiness.
