Ballechin – SFTC – Aged 13 Years – Port Cask Matured – Highland, Single Malt – Scotch Whisky

The nose is fruity, suave, round, gourmand, fine and offers delicacy. It reveals notes of candied cherry, candied citrus and crushed wheat combined with hints of blueberry, peat as well as discreet hints of spice, a subtle touch of rocky minerality and a very discrete point of crushed strawberry. The palate is fruity and offers a fine sweetness, juiciness and a fine acidity. In the mouth this Whisky expresses notes of strawberry, cherry and fine touches of candied orange associated with a hint of peat, crème brulée, spices as well as a subtle touch of gray pepper and an imperceptible hint of marzipan. Nice persistence.
